Learning to add photos to words

Finally! Here are some pictures for the gallery. I am still trying to learn and obviously, I am a slow learner or achiever or something. So here we go--these are some selections of jewelry I have made in the past year.

This is a multi-strand necklace custom ordered by a friend. I used tiger-eye, banded onyx, fresh water pearls, and color-coordinated seed beads with sterling silver spacers and findings.

This bracelet was made at the same time to match the necklace above, using the same stones and beads as well as the seed-beaded strands.

This is a simple moss stone pendant that I did some basic wire wrapping on to add a little bit more fun.

These are one of my favorite pairs of earrings that I have made, wrapping natural stone beads to simple sterling hoops. Not too complex, but still a lot of fun.

An Introduction

Hi! I'm Marla and new to the blogging world, but not to the crafting universe. I love to scrapbook, make cards and jewelry and as much and sometimes more I love to teach these things. I have been teaching papercrafting and stamping for several years and jewelry making for a couple of years. I am an avid Cricuteer and enjoy teaching others how to use and enjoy their Cricuts. Any way, here is where and how I am choosing to launch a new venture, Rock, Paper, Scissors.

Rock Paper Scissors is a company that will provide ready made jewelry, custom order pieces, created components, and classes on how to make your own jewelry. This is the "Rock" part of the equation. "Scissors" is all about creating Scrapbook & Card making components. And just like Rock, they will be ready made, custom ordered and taught. The "Paper" part is about techniques, from distressed to rubber stamping and the whole world that that entails, as... The imagination is the only thing that truly limits technique possibilities. Just like Rock and Scissors, Paper is about the ready made to the classes.

I live in the Mechanicsburg, Pa area and hope to teach mostly in the Harrisburg region. Travelling is definitely a possibility, in order to teach crops, workshops, retreats, etc.

This blog - I am still quite uncomfortable using that word - is to be a gallery and communication spot. I am hoping to get to know a lot of you out there.

Be patient with me, please as I begin to build this spot.

Thanks
Marla
